Doordarshan a govt. owned official broadcaster covered the Venus Transit 2004 programme conducted by the Society .
Which was again shown/telecasted in the News that day as a success story creating awareness about this Great Celestial
Event.
In Most parts of the country including Delhi people were disappointed, as they could not witness this great event and
there long awaited preparations failed because of cloudy sky.
